Hayden Block Smoke and Whiskey and Tool Shed Brewing Company are thrilled to announce their first collaboration event on Tuesday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Hayden Block Smoke and Whiskey in Kensington. Hayden Block’s notorious smoked meats will be paired with a few of the local brewery’s favourite ales paired with appetizers and dinner for a ticket price of $50. Patrons will also be the first to try Tool Shed’s 20 litre special cask of Red Rage, their incredible dark ale with cherry and bourbon smoked oak.
“We have always been a big fan of Tool Shed and their unique small batches of ale. We’re delighted to finally have the opportunity to work with their team and bring another cool event to our patrons,” says General Manager Gregg Miller.
The evening’s appetizer will include Hayden Block’s hush puppies and watermelon salad alongside Tool Shed’s balanced IPA, Starcheek. For dinner, there will be two options: smoked turkey with People Skills, a cream ale, as well as brisket and pulled pork paired with Red Rage, Tool Shed’s dark ale.
Alberta Craft Beer and Tool Shed’s beer expert, Marcus Brais, will be hosting this exciting event. Tickets are $50 each and spots can be reserved through: firstname.lastname@example.org.
